Our mission
When I arrived in Tilcara, back in '83, it was a village of 2000 inhabitants where reigned the silence of the hills, a village where conveyed the farms with the big homes of vacationers who peeked once a year, where few adventurous dared to go.
Walking through the streets was like feeling in the far west.
Nowadays, that all changed and with the nostalgia of those moments I lived and the experience of working with adventurers and tourists which began to arrive is that I want to remember with “Estrella Azul” the feeling that joined me thirty years ago with Tilcara.
Our philosophy
“Estrella Azul” is a farm where you can enjoy the sounds of nature as it is on the outskirts of town surrounded by farms and tenements, where we grow our vegetables and depending on the time of year, we share with our guests, taking care of the water and waste recycling, living in harmony with our Mother Earth and remembering that we are one with it, but without neglecting the possibilities offered technology.
We invite you to visit us and enjoy a different Tilcara, the essential Tilcara which you will always be willing to return.
About me
I was born in Buenos Aires but moved to Tilcara over 30 years ago.
Here I learned to listen to the pulse of the earth and connect with the essence, and here in this piece of land, I built my home with lots of love.
Today I try to share my experiences with the ones that want to share my place, receiving friends or people that for one reason or another we passed on the way, to learn and exchange stories.
